Ambose , I couldnt get Capt. Chamberlain to let me bring my Bowler. That was a GOOD DAY, 3 go outs with just freinds. Those shots were takin after lunch and everyboby was resting ,grabed my Neumatic and slid a few good ones , then back 2 the balsa and still just me out , surfed until my arms gave out. Then back down to get out of the wind and pulled up to a rare gem, watched Chambo and Mr Hulet goin off till my off. till coast guard cap blew off 20ft behind the boat !! ( my son is in the CGs and gave me that hat) fully dressed and resting with COLD rolling rock in hand I see the hat start to SINK!! huuumm. warm, dry, Cold beer resting on the bow??? chug the beer , strip naked in 10 sec. yell at those guys and jump in, swim over dive down grab the hat . Well Im wet now , grab balsa and my baggies ( trunked it!) and surfed some more till dusk.

Ambrose , I bought a round of brews for the boys and Hulet and I hit the road, past Rincon and Miller calls , I got Tri Tip and Linguisa on the Q and a keg of Tecate, I make a call to BIG D she says go for it ( didnt want to cook any way) and says just have 1 beer, OK honey !! Matt laid out a killer spread Vaqueros style, inbed and dreamin by 10.30
