saw this on ebay, a Brewer 9’6" gun. Sorta.
haha, not me!
Ouch!
Lemme guess - angry wife drives over the hubby’s cherished Brewer?

how sad
I don’t like ding repairs that much.
Doesn’t look like your normal run of the mill ding. Possibly:
-
A “I forgot to tie my board onto my racks and drove off” or
-
A “I forgot to put my board in the car and accidentally backed over it”
Any thoughts as to the cause??
it is sad. The ad said this was “divorce related” so I take that means an angry spouse or ex drove over it with a car… I might be tempted to buy it and fix it but the guy who has it is a bit deranged on the asking price… $400… I’d offer him $40, maybe more… but not $400.
Howzit Keith, I agree, way to much $ for it, tell him it's going to cost you $300 to get it repaired and two repair guys told you it was totaled and a lost cause then offer him $100. Any other dings that aren't in the picture which would make even more cheaper to buy.Aloha,Kokua
ah, it’s on ebay, he’ll find out when nobody bids on it…I have plenty of projects already!

You never know what the last minute bidding insanity will produce if there is more than one interested party. I make it a point to seldom buy anything on ebay (and absolutely nothing but “buy-it-now” items) but I have sold a few items, and seen some really strange stuff, like my 5-year old Kreitler bike rollers that ended up going for >85% of the price of brand new (almost exactly what I had originally paid). The ebay slogan should be “people are nuts”…
