Its a 5’ 10" called Aguja and in my opinion all those sharp edges are waaaaay too dangerous. But an interesting design, :smiley:

Right, behind an unlimited class hydroplane, with the old Rolls Royce Merlin engine on board and all.

Somehow, I suspect somebody hadn’t really figured out the hydrodynamics of it all…

After some of the engineers I’ve worked with, maybe someone has ‘over’ figured out the hydrodynamics. Not always good.

It has a very similar design look to the ‘wave piercing’ catamarans, used a lot in far north Queensland.
