In the mean time:
To start,One is an original Clark Hit,and the other is the 02 version.
I converted the grip on both of my Hits with aftermarket M-16a2 grips built custom for me by MSG mfg. in Fullerton,Ca.
Swaped out the metal washers for teflon jobs in the handle.
The motor was rewired with the highest grade of fine copper = more rpm’s.
All the bearings replaced with the highest grade of hi-speed, heat tolerant,ABEC 9 bearings.
Bearing seats are reinforced/ceramic coated and the bodies are wt. balanced.
Swaped out the jack screws in both to a closer ratio thread.
My original pro model cuts to 1/4" in a pass.My 02 cuts to 3/8" in a pass.
Both have standard blades, steel and carbide…A grit barrel …and a custom built for me, 6 blade,carbide,spiral, helical barrel…made from mill cutters.
