Why The Internet Is Not Such A Good Thing, Sometimes

There's scads of videos on youtube professing to instruct on ding repair. I recall some young girl who talked about waiting for

the fiberglass to "melt" after applying resin to it. Just one example of the stupid out there.

Here's another. This appears to be some pommie who decided to make an instructional video about fixing an old board. Hasn't got a clue.

I totally agree Sammy. Not much we can do about it I guess.

I believe the correct term is ,  total wanker .

or fvcking idiot.

I like his style and vigor…

How would you fix that relic right?

Many of the ''shaping'' vids are equally painful to watch. I usually don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I like this one.

Did he even clean it before fixing?  I was cringing at his sanding technique, but my wife loved it LOL!

I can’t believe I wasted my time and watched that. I might not be a ding repair guru, but I have fixed plenty of my boards and those of friends and that was just terrible.

Blowing my own teensy horn on some truly outdated stuff-http://jfmill.home.comcast.net/~jfmill/dings/dingdex.html. Much is, as I said, outdated, but the basics are there.
