I know you guys have talked about this before and I have checked the archives but Im still interested in any input.On a longboard say 9’ for good top to bottom beach break where is the widest point in relation to the centre of the board. Such a good site deviod of ego.Thanks for any help Frederick
Frederick-Here are the dimensions I prefer for a 9’0" performance longboard for hollow beachbreak.171/2N 22W 131/2T.I put the wide point 1" forward of center.Depending on your weight etc.,the 95S or 94B are my favorites for performance longboards.Hope this helps-TEDK.
i agree… I would put wide point ahead of center.
yup me to. Go forward. You can even go 4 - 5 inches forward. Put a nice rounded pin for the tail and a decent amount of rocker and you’ll get that sucker into just about anything!!
