I was wondering if any one know’s anything about Dave Parmenter’s “Widow Maker” boards? I am interested in learning about the placement of the side bite fins, and bottom contours etc… Or if any one can tell me how to get intouch with Mr. Parmenter to gain the info that I looking for. Thanks for any help that can be provided. Chris
I thought they were the big wave guns he produces under the “Aleutian Juice” label. Not sure though. Yeah I have seen some of the Mavericks riders are using them. I first saw one about six years ago when Tom Curren came through Santa Cruz. He was riding a 6’ 9" “Widow Maker”. I made one back then and like it but I would like to learn more about refining it. The one I mad was based on crude measurements that I got.>>> I thought they were the big wave guns he produces under the “Aleutian > Juice” label. Not sure though.>>> Swaylock
Chris, I just remembered that Dave Parmenter is one of the moderators at the Swell.com design forum. You might try posting your question there. Please let us know what you find out.
