Winged quad

Hey guys,

Been doing a fair bit of reading about quad/wing placement for a new board I’m going to shape. It is a 5’8" x 21" x 2 1/4" with around 4" nose rocker/2.5" tail rocker, outline similar to that below. Thinking I will do a single concave to vee/double concave bottom.

I want it to be pretty nimble, despite the wide tail, so was thinking a fin set up somewhere between McKee and the Robin set up (that I came across on this forum). Essentially:

front fins round 10.5"-11" from the tail, and 1.25" from the rail, toe 1/4" cant 6-8 degrees

rears 5-5.5" up and also 1.25" from the rail, toe 3/16" and cant 4 degrees

I am also thinking to put the wing in line with the trailing edge of the front fins. Please let me know if you think I am way off with wing/fin set up.

Cheers, Nick
