wings to rail line?

Thank You Swaylock's,

Starting to design board #2

I was wanting to know

Are wings meant to break up the rail line at the leading edge of the

side fins (tri or twin) or at the rear edge?

And what's the are the effects I can expect from say a soft bump to a

hard, sharp wing?

Can't wait to start! Thanks Again!!

Wings go just behind the trailing edge of side fins so water releases right behind the fin.  That’s where my experience with wings begins and ends, ha.

I think, though, that a sharper bump, like a straight angle cut v. a soft bump (besides being difficult to glass) would give you a tighter turning radius, because you’re reducing tail area and releasing water from the board faster.

What are the other dims on the board?  How’d the first one come out?
