wooden fins that make you say "whoa!"

howzit, all…

gettin’ ready to glue up some wood fins and tail blocks, and i was

hoping a few swaylockers could offer up some information. a

friend of mine gave me a bunch of scrap wood. i’m not sure the

types of wood, but i guess we could just call them “light”, “medium”,

and “dark”. anyhow, to all those who have photo upon photo of

beautiful wood fins…you may begin posting…

Aloha

I think Uncle D, Oneula,CarveNalu, or Mr. Barnfield might be able to fill us in on who it is. I used to have some info on their shop but have misplaced it for now. At one point there were a bunch of images from their shop. Killer boards w/ what seems to be some marketing behind them.

Sorry, that’s all I have.

This board was stolen years ago. Please let me know if you see it.

I don’t have any pics of it anymore, and I have not done tailblocks in many moons. We used to put black construction paper in between a few strips of wood. Looked sharp.

Robbo, epac, I would like to thank you for posting those gorgeous pictures.

Here I thought I had been making some pretty slick looking sticks… Now I see that I’ve simply been wasting my time, and I can quit and leave it up to the real masters.

What a relief.
