wrong fin cant

So I made a big mistake not putting fins in the boxes to make sure the angles were right before sinking them and they have a cant pointing inwards towards the stringer. This is my third board and was intended to be shortboard made for myself, however it ended up being narrower than im used too, i still wanna try it out.Anyways i was wondering for some peoples opinions on whether its worth fixing, and if so what you reccomend doing. also if anyone has any experience riding a board with fins with a cant towards the stringer i would love to hear what its like. The board is 6'1" and about 17 inches wide (skinny) and fcs fusion boxes were used

I thought fusions had the cant built in to the box,are they set backwards? That being said,I’ve never used fusions so I have no idea.Ride it and then decide for yourself I guess, let us know how it goes! How much reverse cant are we talking about here any how?

Fusion boxes come with preset cants of 5 (gray) and 9 (orange) degrees. Which way are the screws pointing, to the stringer or the rail? If they are on the outside of the fin, i.e. facing the rail, they were installed backwards. Good luck, let us know how it rides!

Ride it, if funky, route out and start again

remove the metal set screws, route it out, place a 4 or 6oz patch over it, fill coat it and sand it smooth.  problem solved.

Side fins canted toward the stringer, dramatically increase hold.    Surf it first with no center fin.    Then install the smallest center fin you can find, and surf that.     You may find that you like it.    Make it a learning experience.     I did quite a few experiments with fin setups in 1970/71, using removable side fins, in  3 fin configuration.

Yes, they were gray (5 degree) and i totally installed them backwards. the boards in orange county right now. im gonna pick it up on sunday and give it a go up here at ocean beach in san francisco. I’ll be sure to update all of you with how it rides soon. If i decide i dont like it, ill route it out and put new boxes in. im really excited to try it out!!!

You guys all rule on here, Thank you so much for all the help

But the right fin can…
