Hi all, Thankyou for you honest opinions folks, this is what made my design what it is. Honest feedback from all walks of surfers and shapers. This posting if it lasts gives you all a chance to perhaps build your own controvercial Fat Penguin. By no means will this be an easy undertaking with these aspects to consider. One you will have firstly the complexity of the shape to come to terms with then glassing and sanding will also challange the seasoned enthusiast. Next you will have to suffer the gawking and side remarks from the armchair experts. And if you make it past this you will then have to surf your masterpiece, firstly at remote locations to get used to the drop and the speed of the board. But once you are confident, your skills will seemingly increase by 30%(remember this is the boards effect not yours). OK the web site this info is posted will only be there for 2 weeks and the bandwidth will no doubt be exceeded so be patient. If you are polite and genuine I will give advice via email if you are serious and come unstuck! OK finnaly the URL http://www.geocities.com/wunderboyi/temporarypreviewfile.html?1071127473593 http://www.geocities.com/wunderboyi/temporarypreviewfile.html?1071127473593
If you show me an mpeg video of the board in use (not some hot chick holding the thing) or some jpeg sequence shots showing performance beyond that which is considered normal, then I will make one of these to assess. Afterwards, I will post mpeg or some jpeg’s of our findings… …seriously, it looks like a lot of things are going on as this Fat Penguin skims across the wave face.
