Does any one out there know who manufactures the closed cell extruded polystyrene besides “Dow Chemicals”
or suppliers in Oz. Been searchin the net for a while now but no luck.
If you live somewhere where it’s generally warm year round, XPS will be hard to get as it’s mainly used for insulation. I live in Norway and can’t get all densities locally because some of the higher desisties are only used for extreme cold ground insulations(?!?!?). What’s wrong with Dow anyway(besides the problems with XPS foam)?

The Dow foam I have been buying has increased in weight by 36% here’s a copy of an email reply from my supplier:
Dow Chemicals in Europe have changed blowing agents to a more environmentally product but
this causes the weight to increase. In Dow’s data sheets they state density
as a minimum so according to Dow the boards are still within spec.
