Texas-based, learned how to shape (basics) 20yrs ago but have only ever completed one board start to finish. Got pretty decent at repairs over the years, mainly my own boards and maintaining a fleet of sups for a rental business. A couple river wave pools have opened in my area the past few years and they absolutely chew boards up. Combine that with the wakesurf, foil and sup industries that are more prevalent up here and I’ve started taking on more outside work this past year or so. Still struggle with color matching. Like a lot. Mainly here to pick up some knowledge about paint for repairs and the random tricks of the trade.
