It might weigh a few more pounds when it is finished, but I like a bit of weight otherwise the board feels like a cork and it gets blown off the back of the wave
(my last board weighed 40 pounds and that was for an 8’1", it was thicker though)
I don’t think it is likely that i’ll be in California in the near future but you never know
how long is the fish?
Thanks a lot
I really looking forward to riding it, it will be a great experience.
Im going to have an interesting fin setup two sidefins and a tunnel

6’2" or there abouts. It’s a really smooth board, and rides well under the right conditions. For me, that includes no crowds, because it’s not the fastest paddler, and I like to make sure no one’s too close when I’m riding it.
pat
that sounds nice but I personally prefer boards that ride well in any conditions and paddle really well
like my new 10’9" LOL.
i know what you mean about crowds (though im sure it i’snt as nearly as bad in New Zealand as it is over there)
The board now weighs 35 pounds now that it has been shaped
and this morning I installed a vent and a leash plug in the deck
i will put some photos up soon
