-13F and still stoked ...

Sorry guys, no Lake Superior surfing photos today :frowning: Too much ice even if it wasn’t dangerously cold …

While icelocked for a while, I’m catching up on shaping. Took out the 8’3" U.S. Blank today that I bought before Christmas and cut the outline, and mowed a couple passes off the top and bottom.

Outline is similar to a Hobie slug … eggish kinda … good east coast/Great Lakes board with a shorter length.

Looking for opinions on the bottom contours. Considering either a simple flat to vee, or possibly some channels?

Going with 2+1 on this as well. Should have the outline finished tonight/tomorrow and be ready to vee the tail, then start planning out the rails and bottom contours. Ready to glass in a couple weekends.

Didn’t take much off of the blank – used most of the outline. No big scraps left for repairs this time! :open_mouth:

Big Day Billy
