just got back from the depot and those 8x4x2 eps blanks are 11 bucks here in florida. damn i guess that building a 10 foot baord is going to cost 150 dollars.
its getting to be that eps blanks are just to expensive
Stands to reason it should be more expensive in Orlando. Law of supply and demand.
Why not make an 8’ long by 25" board, using ONE billet?
yeah i was kind of surprised that they where a little more expensive but 4 dollars more a blank isnt so bad. i am currently going to build two boards and i think that i can squeeze two boards out of it. ones 7’10 and the others 6’8. it might be a tight fit because both are pretty wide but i should have about 2 inches of play.
As late as this spring, they had 4" thick billets, 4x8. But no more for some reason.
