Here are a few shots of my wide tail Surftaxi funboard.
Dimensions are 17" nose 22.5" mid 2" back from centre
18" tail. Home made gulwing from polypropolane 2 part mix
plastic, nice and flexible almost unbreakable, with 2 normal
trifins as outriggers 12" up from tail. Made from a pavel 6’ 8"
the blank is actually 6’ 9" and the boards length is 6’ 8".
This board has total drive and hold, it has shocked me as
it was an experiment, boy is it fun. It just shows that
strange shapes can work well.
looks cool, can we get a template profile photo to get a better sence of the curves? (i.e. standing upright… I know less artistic but easier to understand)

Hi 4EST
The rocker is fairly flat, the bottom is flat to vee, soft 50/50 rails running
into a hard tuck in the last 2’ 6" of the board. Rides simular to my
6’ 4" fish but a lot more positive in hold. I glassed it 2x6 deck 1x6 bottom,
glossed bottom and rails, the deck is a polished sand coat to save a little
on weight. It paddles like a fish as well, very easy. I was hoping on using
a pavel for my next fish but clarke’s foam may not be available so I will
use epoxy and eps from now on.
Rocker.
Best profile at the moment.
