1960's Ryan Dotson Stringlerless Gun

I just bought this board and as you can see from my the photos, she has weathered time but got beat up along the way. ANy suggestions on if and how to fix her? Also does anyone know a ballpark price on a a board like this?

Now thats a name I have’nt heard in years. I still clearly remember the first shortboard I saw. It was a Ryan Dotson mini gun much like the one you have, only it had a skinny stringer and was tinted yellow. It seemed so futuristic at the time compared to what us kids were riding, basically mid sixties standard shapes. That board and a Brewer Hanapepe Surf Shop mini gun were like the nirvana of boards at the time. I wish I could give you a number value on the board, but in that condition, I would’nt think it would be worth all that much. A nice resto project and time piece to have anyway.

WOW, iagree with foamdust, thats a real thingie from the past----ryan made me several boards while i was in grad school–which were unreal riders–this one needs a lot of TLC but i would bet that it would be fun to ride…
