I used a Home Depot 6’ laminated pine board. A friend lent me his jigsaw, planer and a couple sanders. I sealed it with two coats of marine varnish. there you go.
Its Just a tad under 6’ and it’s 16" wide with a small concave from the back till about 1/2 way up the board. I haven’t gotten to use it yet, today was flat…

I took the alaia out on l foot mush barely counted as waves. I was surprised to see that it floated and that I was able to paddle it. I only stood up legit-ly once, but I know that it bigger waves this thing is gonna RRRRIIIPPP! I enjoyed belly boarding it also. It still felt the same weight after I took it out of the water and I made sure to wash it with fresh water and then dry it off.
