3rd shape any advice

Tail depth is 5 1/2 tail 17 mid 20 1/2 nose 14 1/4 its about 2 3/4’’ thick at the thickest part
it will used for small mush waves in North East Fl I thined out the tail as advised on here so it will sink into turns better I was thinking of doing a concave but with small waves I thank a flat bottom will be better correct me if im wrong  Thanks in advance

When you say - Tail depth is 5 1/2 - I don~t get it. It looks about 15 wide and there~s nearly zero rocker so It~s a little confusing.

Most the guys I know making good fishes have around 2 in tail rocker and 4 in nose rocker, give or take a bit. They also put a bit more v in their tails because that straight outline can send you on a train track. Maybe make a smaller tucked under rail by whacking a bit more V  in it. I wouldnt concave it as that will flatten your rocker out more and make it even harder to turn. It looks to be a really flat rocker already.  By the way, in the photos this board looks beautiful. They are sweet lines there, I love the nose. But that tail rail looks bulky. That will be constantly trying to pop out of the water and probably project you further out of the sweet spot than you want to be. I have a hybrid quad(with more rocker and a bit of tail V) like this but I put smaller fins in it and its going a little nicer now,(from 7s to 3s at the front) so who knows.

Keep me in the loop.

Cheers

->the depth of the swallow is 5 1/2"

thats real nice! i wish i had a space like yours.

Nice job. Maybe try foiling out the nose and tail more...in the pictures it looked thick there. Happy thanksgiving Eve

Nose rocker is 5’’ tail is 1 1\2 I was going for low tail rocker so it will plane out faster in small waves is this right or wrong and if I foil out the nose and tail should I do it from yhe deck or bottom Thanks for the input

I would say definitly the bottom. for both. Also, If you roll those nose rails up but keep the stringer as is, that will reduce your chance of bogging if you manage to shove a cuttie on this beast. Not being negative `cause I think it looks like a super fun hot dog flyer! but my guess is it will be hard to slow down and turn around. Old mates´back fin at the swallow point´call is right within a half in of the money I reckon. Get some V in that tail LilC. If you do that you could put a very slight Double concave just forward the fins for that extra bit of squirt.

Thanks for the heads up on the terminology a2tail.
