Heres board #5, 6’8" x 21 x 2 7/8" before the step, about 2" thick after the step.
Quad futures fin setup, used the G1 fins, side fins in front and center (double foiled) fins in the back.
It was shaped out of my girlfriends old 8’ thruster funboard/egg…thing, that we got for $50. glassed with S glass all over, 4-6 on top and 4 on bottom. Brown Pigment and posca pinlines.
Soon the board will have a center box in it too so it can be a signlefin for a change of pace.
Took it out in stormy C-Street today, didn’t get many good waves, but from what i can tell right now, its very drivey off the bottom, and carries alot of speed down the face of the wave, and does well in the flats. More testing is needed, and i cant wait to do it!
widepoint is pretty well dead center, my other boards had them pretty far forward, and i wanted to change it up a bit.
im not sure on the fin sizes, but they are the fins designed for Groms from Futures, so they are on the small side, i may need to go up in size on the front fins sometime.
bottom has a slight vee around the standing area, a little ahead of the fins, but is pretty flat otherwise.
