Hi Guys,
This is my first post here and was wondering if you lads might be able to assist. I plan on a getting a shaper to shape me a board similar to the CI 5’6" Fishcuit. I am about 75kg (165lb) and want a fish that will be very easy to paddle, catch waves easily, rips on the small waves and is really fast and maneuverable.
I am thinking of going 5’5" x 20.5 x 2.75. Those dimensions are 1 inch shorter and 0.5 inch wider than the regular 5’6" CI fishcuit. I am thinking of possibly going 21" wide and 5’4" what do you think? Too radical?
I am getting this board made up as a thruster. I am wondering if I should get it made as a swallow tail or diamond tail. Any thoughts on this? Do u think there would be much difference from a diamond or swallow tail when the tail is so wide anyway?
Also, I was wondering if anyone might know the tail width and nose width of the 5’6" CI fishcuit as well as amount of tail and nose rocker 12" up the stringer. If anyone also knows the bottom contour that the 5’6" CI fishcuit has as well as where the width of the board should be placed that would be great.
cheers
Daniel
ps. If you might not know these exact details for the 5’6" CI fishcuit but have had some success shapping a similar style board for a guy my size I would be happy to hear your suggestions, thanks!
