Mind if I ask what your relationship is to Steve? I’ve noticed you posting his boards for a long time. They’re always nice to look at.

Steve and I grew up in the same town and have been friends since the 70s. We had a surf shop with a shaping factory in the back throughout the late nineties. When I closed my surf shops in the early 21st century and moved online. Stall was there with me. We have had one of the best working relationships you can have in business and have had some gut busting good times laughing over various things.
Never had a single bad incident.Both of us do what we say we will do and live up to our side of agreements. Stevie is super creative just like his father and one of the few shapers I know who has made 100% of his living from building boards for 41 years and has lived a true surfing lifestyle. I don’t just promote them and sell them on my site because we are friends. The product is second to none and his boards have a special touch like all unique quality shapers do. We are also both married to super nice, hard working, patient and beautiful women who tolerate our surfing lives and dealing in Surfboards.
I have seen some of the best since my time in the industry began in the late seventies so I believe I have a good comparison. I have had a similar working relationship with Greg Pautsch though we didn’t grow up together or hang out much on a personal basis. I consider him a friend also. I have tried since I began to work with the best so the end product that reached the surfer would give loads of happy surfing times and an artistic asthetic. Thanks for asking.

Thanks Huie…I’m actually riding a FrankenMine epoxy quad at the moment myself. Half Mini and have egg with Lazor Rails which Steve Came up with. Fun little 6’6’’ for my big old self.
