6,6 funboard build

sounds good i think i will set the sides a little closer to the rails.

cheers antony

hey guys i am about to set the fin plugs on this board tonight. Right now i am only planning to set up as a thruster, but i think down the line i may add some fins and try it as a quad.

I was wondering if this set up would work with the "wide" tail i have on this board:

 center fin 3 1/2 up

  side  fins 11 3/4 up , 1 1/4 from rail with 3/16 toe  4 deg cant

when i add tailer fins will be 6 1/2 up  1 1/4 rail 1/8 toe  (i still not sure on the cant any advice)

what do you guys think? do the numbers work?

cheers for advice

antony

hey guys been awhile so i thought i better post a few pics of finished board.

i had 2 good surfs on it  and real happy,

thanks for all the help on this one. i like the fin set up but will be adding the extra plugs for the quad set up. i have some fcs strech's on the way for it.

the board has lots of float to it so paddles my 90kg well but down side is its a bit of work to duck dive. as far a ride go i am happy as

both the surf i have had on it were in bad, messy, windy conditions so hanging out for a day when not at work and the swell and conditions are there to really test it out

any way heres some pics

cheers antony

heres rail and bottom

Great board! Love the resin swirl on the bottom. Would have kept the top white though but I guess green just isn’t my color.

Let us know how she rides

Howzit twisted, I actually like the green deck with the black and gray bottom and rails but you need some practice when it comes to doing the oversprayed rails since they are hard to do and 1 little twitch and and it shows big time. Aloha,Kokua
