Doing a project on an old, Hansen pig style longboard, fixing dings, and making it watertight. I took out the glassed on D-fin, cause it was way loose, and wanted to refit it back on. I found the center stringer was dry rotted. So I replaced it with balsa and rerouted the new stringer to accept this style of fin. I will fill the repair to level with bottom and glass with the usual glass rope boat and lay up of 6 oz cloth on the sides. My question is how do glass/resin the fin in the balsa slot part? Thanks
