Spent some time this weeking fixing up an old Channin I’ve had since the 80s, plus a couple vintage boards other people wanted watertight again. Check these out… 6’5" Channin with glass on turbo fins and a center box; 6’6" OB Surf shop board with pinlines, and 8’4" Scott board (raymond scott henry according to Stingray, who found said initials on the board in pencil) hydro hull weirdness with much tail flip… and a “dolphin safe” logo too.
Cool stuff Keith. I still have a soft spot for eighties shapes. My parents would take us to the G and S shop after church when we were kids as an incentive, and the boards from that era always get me going on a nostalgia trip.
I had an early eighties 6 something G and S thruster that I used in lieu of a fish type shape a few years ago.Low rocker, plenty of width and volume and it made crappy summer surf a fun endevor at the time.
