A Comprehensive Guide to Designing Dust Collector Systems

I started a thread a short while ago looking for advice on upgrading to a newer shop vac. I came across this site about of cyclonic dust systems and I thought I’d post it as a resource for others. It is a lengthily, super comprehensive Bible and has me thinking of doing a sort of mini dust system over a shop vac.

Aside from system design, calculators, and mechanics thereof, it has some other interesting and relevant links for us swaylockers- for example a wood toxicity table. European Walnut can cause nasal cancers- good to know, Port Orford Cedar can cause “giddiness”- hmmm , and Teak a swollen scrottum?- WTF? see for yourself
