This evening, Fri. july 18, the film WATER MAN will be shown at Surfing Heritage Foundation. In attendance will be both Laird Hamilton, and Dave Kalama.

The price is $10 dollars, general admission. Check it out.

Oops, forgot! Gerry Lopez was there too, signing his book. Laird was very graciously posing with people for photos, talking with children, and signing autographs. What an outstanding ambassador for surfing!

Also in attendance, unannounced, was Mike Tabeling. He seemed to be enjoying himself, and Laird seemed genuinely pleased to meet him, when he introduced himself. Lots of surfing notables were there. My only complaint is that the live band was too loud. Check the SHF website. There are other film events on the way.
