A VERY kind thought and action from one of the Swaylockians here…

today the issue of The Surfer’s Journal’ [with ‘hauling keel ’ and Ron Stoner’ in it] arrived in my perth west auatralia letter box. [Also included was the excellent 'the surfers path issue with the ‘superbank’ article and Rabbit Bartholomew interview in it !]

The people on this site are the most friendly, encouraging , and generous crew I have ‘met’ [albeit by a ‘screen’] . It never ceases to amaze me!

In the short time I’ve been contributing here, it’s incredible the amount of help, free advice, and encouragement I’ve received from people here… I hope what I contribute can be equally as helpful to others !

 thanks again to the sender of that wonderful gift , and you guys are blessed to have such an informative and excellently produced mag there . [ Steve Pezman, thanks for producing that !]

It just goes to show what a great little community we have here. Nothing better than sharing the stoke worldwide.

yep, I was waiting at the letterbox as the " postie" drove by on his motorbike …gotta be quick to beat them letter stealers ! [I won… <span style=“text-decoration:underline”>THIS</span> time !!]

The person’s name is … " I’m generous and humble and didn’t do this for any sort of public recognition, but because I’m a good bloke and like helping people… and sharing the stoke ‘’

…quite a mouthful, eh ?

So, you can see why he uses a different name when he posts…I don’t think it would all fit in that little ‘details’ box otherwise, would it ?
