Ace, sorry it has taken a while to get back to you. I am glad you told me about the Aquazar last week and Ice Nine Foam Works would definitely like to be involved. We can supply our Cane blanks for the shaping.

Also, I wanted to elaborate on what DeadShaper mentioned. Ice Nine has offered to work with schools, providing blanks to demonstrate and teach shaping. We also have our apprentice program that is offered to shapers that have someone they are mentoring the art of shaping. We will provide reject blanks that can be used for practice. Just return the blank after it has been shaped and we will give you another one.

Thanks Ken… I shaped a Ice9 blank and did a critic of the blank on another thread. I will be selling the shape/blank to the highest bidder. That ought to be interesting $5.00? who knows, write your amount and put it in the box.

Just so you know “weather or not” this thing is gonna happen. I just got off the phone with Jim “Mouse” Robb and he said he will be stopping with his scrap book, around 10am?. if you want to meet someone who has seen it all from planks to today don’t miss this. Also I am working on getting LOOONG time shaper John Holly to shape one up. He said he will, I hope so. I still have space for vendors and the “swap meet” is still on. A little water never hurt a surfer.

The shaping will be IN the OB surf shop where i have a shaping room with windows. The other parts of the event will be in the parking lot that is next to the shop. Corner Newport and Cable, Ocean Beach. All one place. Easy to find Sunset cliffs blvd. right on Newport left side of street end of block. Across the street from Willy’s shoe shine…

Thanks for putting the Aquazar on. Even with the game and the weather, it was still great to meet and talk with new people. Ice-Nine is glad we were able to participate in the first one and look forward to the next ones.

Thanks for putting this on. I enjoyed meeting lots of people and talking surf (I don’t get to do that much in AZ). The shaping room wasn’t near as bad as you led me to believe. I just wish I’d noticed that the racks were adjustable. Thanks again for a nice afternoon. Everyone should try to attend the next one. You’ll be stoked you went.

Just getting back from Baja had a great trip lots of good waves this year.

You said you got some shots of me surfing the Yellow board? Hav’nt had aloot of pics taken of myself surfing so I would love to see them if you get a chance.
