DON'TS

1.) Carpet bomb, its rude and pisses people off.

Actually im wrong to put this post up. Swaylocks is not the yellow pages ( phone book ), so people shouldn't be selling anything here at all.

Hey Beer Boy,

For me I don’t care as long as your not jumping into every f…n  thread pumping your product.  There are several pro’s that use Sway’s for publicity, but also are great givers.  Coil comes to mind.  I think the guys that turn people off are the ones that take, take, take, but don’t give anything back. So, what do you got?  Mike

Hey mike, just responding to Wavefin, carpet bombing threads.

Hey Beerfan, there’s a couple of people using this board for personal exposure who don’t even shape or glass. I see it all the time, but I keep out of it. I’m glad you brought this up. There’s a place where they can show thier boards and talk about it, but I don’t think the general discussion board is the right place.

Others have been extremely helpful and totally unselfish with their advice.

My boards have so much influence from what Griffin, Mair, and several others are doing with their designs. I think it helps that they make boards for Hawaiian waves and that’s where I am. Another person I owe a ton of gratiude to is Charlie Price, who unselfishly taught me so much about balsa veneer skinned boards and epoxy resin.

It’s not only new forum members who post up their products trying to drum up business that can be annoying.

There’s also those who pump us for ideas and suggestions so they can better there product because they don’t have the nouse to figure it out for themselves and then disappear.

Remember the cameraman guy who wanted ideas for surfing movies.

Got the suggestions flowing and then never to be seen again.
