AeroCore fins in FCS style?

Does anyone know if Aerocore makes FCS compatible fins? I’ve had these Aerocore fins as glass-ons on some Merricks that are the best fins I’ve ever had, with a noticable performance improvement. I can’t find them for FCS boxes though. Anyone here have a contact number for AeroCore? Who makes them?

Howzit Tubedog,Being a builder that uses FCS in my shop, I don’t think they’d work because of the foam core. The strength of aercores is in the skin and that wouldn’t be strong enough for the tabs, they’d break off pretty easy. But who knows with a little ingenuity that problem could be solved. Aloha, Kokua

I’m just looking for their phone # or e-mail address so I can ask them… maybe they have worked out the potential problems. Yes- they are light and solid and even though it’s only a few ounces, I swear it favorably affects the balance point on ultralight boards. The best boards I’ve ever had, all had foam core fins. Different shapers, too. (coincidence?)

they could definitely make 'em for fcs plugs. just a glass base with the foam core on the fin itself. that’s the way they do it for the red x system.

AerCore (sp?) is a trademarked fin. The fins Red X provides are not made by the people that make AerCore. We tried to for over a year. But, getting the fit right just didn’t happen. That’s why the RTM cored fins that Larry has available for Red X are called Air Cells. Right now I’m riding a set of carbon fiber Air Cells and they work great. You just have to be very careful not to hit anything!
