Hi there, I was carelessly in laminating the bottom, in which there’s a big air pubble found in the tail block, it’s about 0.5cm x 1.5cm in dimension. That area found really weak I can touch & feel the crispy. Should I cut this area out and paste with filler, later then cut a small fiber glass fabric to reinforce it? Or else any other approach to strength it? p.s. this is the first layer in the bottom, my plan to lay two layers in the bottom. Thanks for your attention. Regards, Crabie
you might want to try injecting some resin using a syringe. this should fill the hole nicely w/o hurting the tail block.
Thanks Teddy, I tried that before while was to inject resin bewteen stringer and foam, its really really hard to do so cos the resin its much heavier in density. By the way, I bought epoxy putty today and found it very useful in filling gap/crack, especially in reinforcing the nose. Thanks Crabie
