Air bubbles/ dry spots? poly lam

Hey all,
I just laminated this board and did a hot coat and noticed these little bubbles. I haven’t had this issue ever before in such a prominent fashion!
Is this a result of over squeegee-ing the lam?
Wondering if I could fix this in the future?
for now I’m thinking sand down as close to lam as possible, expose what i can and press some resin in with a squeegee or hypo needle.
Any tips to avoid this or what may have caused it please let me know for the future. Thanks

Dry lam. Not enough resin or you squeegeed too hard and pulled resin off leaving dry cloth. I prefer to grind my laps before hot coat. It’s too easy to burn through if you leave them until you sand the hot coat.
