I picked up a used Epoxy Longboard a while back. The board is an Island surfboard made in Coco Beach Fl. in 1994 I don't know much about Island. What has impressed me is how well it has held up over the years. There where some small dings and a lot of pinholes. finding and filling the pinholes was my biggest problem.
I started taping off the board last night. Had some idea of what I wanted is a 1970s style airbrush with cutaway rail lines and mid 70's earth ton color. So far I am pretty happy with the results I plan to shot a clear coat this evening and let the set over night so I can back tape in the morning and do a airbrush mural on the bottom The theme will be spiraling Hurricanes, spiraling waves, spiraling planets and you got it spiraling universe. I'm useing Acrlycs over the epoxy Then when finished will apply a few coats of crystal clear Arylic to seal
