AKU or Shape 3d lessons?

hello, ive been hand shaping for 8 years or so, now im interested in learning some computer skills.  Anyone in the HB area interested in helping me out? its all pretty confusing to me.  Thanks  Erik

Shape 3D is very easy to use, the free vershion is good but the licence does give you a lot more tools in your box to help.

Some find it helpful. Worth a shot you will have trouble printing templates with aku though unfortunately I don’t think they have quite figured out a way to do it easily yet. Boardcad is fairly simple and prints out easily enough

BoarCad is so damn easy to use and it’s FREE.

I also used aku and shape3d but the free version is kinda … shity

here’s a nice tutorial I found for you on youtube

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dycqDpjiXuI

I have had difficulty finding out where i can download board cad???

Is that in the tutorial.

try here:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/boardcad/files/

The link for the boardcad

https://sourceforge.net/projects/boardcad/

You also have to download java 3d from here (there’s linux/windows/mac)

https://java3d.java.net/binary-builds.html

And also have to install java, better 7.0 or 8.0 (same .exe for linux/windows/mac)

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.html

If u need help just say it.
