There is no money in surfboards whatsoever and it’s better to keep board building as a hobby.
Long live the backyard shaper. Turn the surfboard shaping machines into panel cutters to make window coverings for all the business closures as well as for the failed housing market.
The AKU Shaper will not be around as the market is over saturated with cnc shaping machines. Many of the machine builders are smart guys and they will all just move on and go into other industries.
So the 12K lost is not that large compared to all the millions that have been lost in the surf industry over the last 3 years.

yes. Definately needs to be a mind set change and a new way of doing things. As smart as we are it seems we are all stupidly infactuated with that hunk of foam and fiberglass that’s sets us free. I see no end to our retardation any time soon. Look at how many new board constructions, new materials, and globally more surfers then ever before in more countries. Even more members on this forum.

Thats what happens to often. I cant believe they think they can get away with this! I was the customer the guy who shelled out the money. A guy who put together a business model around his product. A model that could have had more success. Its these type of antics eveywhere that has prompted our economic downfall. Little acts like these against the ones who provided funding early on. We are all after the same thing in life (for the most part) The blinded may underestimate the power of ones that feel burned or have gotten burned. When some get burned it fuels the fire to counter.
