As mentioned in my earlier post. It does appear that additional information beyond updates can be extracted. That does not mean any foul play is happening. It is possible> I took the the time to read many posts about this issue. Just read and make up your mind whether you want to risk someone peering at relevant and non relevant information.

What is interesting is that their software is a fusion of what was requested by the many… Updates are created due to requests and issues… So who really has the rights to the software? I say the shapers/designers that made the requests to improve the software… I have recorded conversation between me and little bird as far as what we needed to be a winner… So do we as machine owners really own the rights to the software? After all we helped develop it! Should we patent all the info we gave to lil bird?
You have a point here. To add to the information, it was agreed between Jimmy, Ralph, Nev and me that the software was to be developed for the exclusive use with my machine. This agreement has been witnessed and has been confirmed by Jimmy in front of others.
Based on this agreement I helped Jimmy and Ralph to get the project started and later I helped them to develop it further. I do have hundreds of emails to confirm this. A lot of the software is based on my ideas and on my input as well as my efforts to “proof read” the many different versions. Important parts e.g. the full rail cut from the deck are exclusively based on my input. Other people like Nev for example had a great input too and after I started to operate the first machine, strong influence and many ideas came from those early customers like Murray Bourton for example.
After starting to sell the machines, the machine owners had a great influence in the further software development. Not all the ideas could be implemented or were actually usable but they all contributed. So, how much of the software does actually belong to Jimmy and Ralph? I do have a friend on Oahu, he is a professor for law at the University of Hawaii and I will meet with him in a few weeks.
Meanshapes, I do understand your emotions. It is quite a wake up call to find out how dependant you actually have been and how easy it can be for some people to invade your computer and privacy. I have warned you long time ago. And I can tell in great detail how it feels to get Aku’d…

Looks like you inserted yourself into this mess.
If you think volunteering information, suggestions, or playing ‘Quality Control Person’ on
software you are using or paid for gives you some super numero rights you are very mistaken.
Your above statement is practically an admission to what has happened here. Your legal recourses appear to be nil.
Of course this could all be much more complicated and intertwined than it appears.

Still nothing… A very clever surfer did however create a new word for our american dictionary. The words derivitive is Hawaiian for small tuna. We use it to make poke… A hawaiian delicacy usually served with a cold bud light… The fish is chopped raw into delightful cubes mixed with green onion and limu (sea weed) its then showered with Shoyu (a sweet soy sauce) and sesame oil… WoooooooooW!
However this new term is much more entertaining…

Yesterday my friend got AKU’D by his AKU’DER BOSS. I cant believe that guys AKU’DNESS. Charles don’t let the AKU’DACY get you down… Brighter days ahead.

12k looks like we may have lost it along with our license. I wonder if they used it to develop further snoopware. I wonder if their plan was to get masses of users to download the software and then to sell their relevant info personal info to companies for marketing. I know others that have attempted this and a few it has worked for…
EX. amazon.com for the Surf world. If I download the software they know I have interest in surfboards and surfing I also would probably like shorts, t-shirts and other surf related products. They have your email when you request to download. With pattern recognition software/keystroke they could gather relevant info then sell it to big companies like a huge surf company that makes all their money off clothes… This makes huge coin as big companies are always looking for an edge to out do each other. TARGET MARKETING!!

I wonder what will become of the BoardCad.ORG request. I think the AKU teams 3 day response time is coming to an end. I put money on it they don’t respond. About 12K worth. The boardcad post in my eyes is the ultimate call out. Anyway the future is bright as through the last 17 days my mind has come alive again. A few of us have come up with some clever idea’s over a beer or two. A few new words for our dictionary has come about that are worth a few good laughs. Not really worth the money that was invested nor worth the software that has been taken away which we still have no reason for. We can only speculate at this point but speculation will be good enough as in the end you see we will get my money back plus.
