Does anyone own a “Quong” ?
its a reletivly new longboard by the CI crew / Al Merrick
I’ve got a customer who needs me to make a similar board,
Has anyone got the measurements of this board ?
Any info would help, I have searched the net and all I can find is width and thickness

Would love some 12" measurments, rough rocker, thickness at different points, Bottom, Tail pod etc
I have actually copied a lot of AL’s stuff, very precisily, if someone passes this info on to me,
I will happily PM any info they need on other boards.
Heaps of these discussions are about how different people make different models (not their own).
I dont want to copy it exactly, it just has to look the part, I will just start with one of his other models and mod it a bit and use my own experience and such.
What a kook. Do people have no shame? Just because you claim other people on the forum ask for help ripping off someones design that makes it ok? Actually most of those people are asking for explanations on WHY something works, or WHY someone does something. Or at the very least they are making a board for personal use and have NO PLANS TO SELL IT. You blatantly are copying a board for commercial reasons!!! You seem to be willing to let some one else do the heavy lifting and just ‘borrow’ their work. Not that CI is much better, ala ‘Dumpster Diver’…but at least they changed the template around and probably the rocker a bit too…but I digress.
You obviously have internet access. If it just has to ‘look’ the part just take a look at the CI website and look at the description. I mean, it gives a very rough description of the bottom, rails, and rocker right on the website.
Same kook who earlier today posted a torrent link to ‘Shaping 101’ and ‘Glassing 101’ in a post. He really doesnt have any shame in ripping people off, even acknowledging in the post that it was illegal to download it without paying. Its been removed since, so good on Sways for that.

A friend of mine had one,he sold it after about 2 weeks.It had alot of concave,especially in the nose area.I tried my longboard as a quad and hated it compared to singlefin.The board got slow and tracky,and when you walk to the nose it was like putting on the breaks and the tail would slide out,causing me to suck at surfing…and I don’t like to suck at surfing!
