hey guys what would be the cheapest wood that would work well for sahping and surfing an alaia.
was hoping radiata pine or some other sorts of cheap pine would be good.

Radiata would work okay, so will Sugar Pine, White Pine, Western Red Cedar, Redwood, Basswood, even Poplar if you seal it very well.
Depends on what is available to you.
