Amusing short film

Does this ring true:-)

HAH! John, completely missed the tee shirt. Good eye. Is he the british Poolman??

The t-shirt logo at 6:30 looks familiar as well.

Bet they’re saving the part where he takes up SUP for the sequel .

I thought it was a "How- To.." movie. haha

Ha, this is quality.  He's like a British Nat Young.

It rings way too true for way too many.  Great film

i’m mind surfing right now

I don't get it?.................What's so funny?

you didn’t notice that he was driving his van from the wrong side?!?!?

that poop was hysterical!

Having grown up in the midwest and gotten into surfing much later than most, this is spot on. If you grew up surfing probably not as funny.

The white single fin's logo looked awfully familiar. Was that one of Balsa's/ Guilhiem???(sp?)

…the video is very well done

also:

good:

-nice places

-handcrafted surfboards

-non generic surfboards

-not branded clothing

-good wetsuits

-solitary “surfer”

-van without “right” stickers

-rookie with a good vibe and motivated

-the guy looks for empty beaches

-not fatty out shaped guy

the problem are not these typos

the problem on the zoo are the ones that

have all the corporates:

Pop out boards, those ugly designed clothes that surf shops sell, all the crappy gear, guys that go to the most crowded beaches to get “in”, guys who are really a danger in the inside when a surfer is taking the wave, out of shape out of training newbies, “right” stickers on car, not solitary newbie but a truck with 5 of these typos, talking out loud every where; and a long etc

The funniest thing about that is the new light it sheds on the surfer/shaper relationship.

The advice is always for surfers to stick with a shaper. Have them know your surfing ability and style and the waves you frequent.

Shapers have to be a patient bunch who must be able to stifle laughter and look serious at the same time when dealing with some of their valued customers.

Furthermore…what’s that cheeky arse doing impersonating me anyway?

LOL!

the world of surfimig

is morphing in this

direction .I was

repulsed and scared

and in full accord with the

maker of the film although

this satire was all too real.

The stratum of identities

generated by this last pulse of

commercial promotion of the ‘surfing’

rife stoille,products,excuses,postures,

tudes an’ dudes is to the sensitive

a crying shame.

Only problem is this stratum is

self replicating and the producers

of ‘products for the industry’ are

just these guys>drop out accountant

dead beat dads,capitalizing on the

misplaced delusions of impressionable

future sociopaths … the greatest fear

is that these guys are waiting to talk to you

between your changing space and the takeoff .spot …

…ambrose…

when all you really want to do is ride a wave

Haha that was funny!
