An old Mark Foo interview you are not likely to see in circulation and some surfing

Not too many folks know Mark was a local for awhile at Pensacola Beach.  He had a major impact on inspiration there and Pensacola has had it’s share of folks that have done things in the surfing world and beyond.  Strange for a place of minimal surf.  At one time before they quit dredging Pensacola did have a world class hot dog point break.  I have seen folks from both Hawaii and California shocked at the wave considering where it was located.   Gerry Blanck is now a Karate instructor in the L.A. area.  he has trained folks like Steven Spielberg’s children among others and carved out a nice career for himself.  Gerry is also one heck of a good surfer.

Enjoy

Excuse the quality it was put on a DVD from VHS.

Nice interview Solosurfer (-: Great to see some detailed history and some nice moments shared with Mark. The ending made me think of that day I heard about what happened to Mark and brought back some of that shocked emotion again that stays with you. Our hearts will always have a prayer for Mark and his family. Thanks for sharing Solo.
