In late 80s, skateboards were finally allowed for Russian kids…

Only 2 types of skateboards were produced in the then USSR as imports were banned…

So every kid who had a skateboard had one of those two types…

And you thought you had it bad…

Maybe their super-athletes could overcome the inherent design problems:
