A nieghbor is selling his old Plastic Fantastic and wants me to make him an offer. I have no idea what its worth or what would be fair. Any help is appreciated.

I know that old swallowtails like that usually have much more damage. That one seems to have survived rather well. I rarely see 70s swallows that haven’t been crunched, badly. I was always fixing my own.
My guess would be in the $150 to $200 dollar range. In the end, It's worth what you are willing to pay for the pleasure of owning it. If you get it, surf it.
