What is the buzz at the expo about blanks? Has anyone heard anything?
Many foam dealers on hand at the show. Some epoxy some poly. Most new foam will be coming from somewhere overseas (South Africa, Argentina, Australia, etc…) Already talked to a few of the companies and the shipping cost is outragous. Elova foam of Argentina seemed pretty dense and consistant throughout not offered in lengths above 9’3" yet. The South African foam was pretty good had a 10’6" blank. Not sure about the Australian foam.
Nothing new on the board front. Didn’t see any “new” trends.
