Theres the link, I like these plans because the wood requirements is just 1.5 sheets which is pretty cheap! just wondering if you think it would be worth the cost to buy the plans and if it really would be that cheap for the wood.
There’s only one way to find out, and that’s by doing it, looks like a classic kookbox, probably a good wave catcher, 1 and a half sheets of ply should do it ( will cover deck and bottom with some left over for frames etc)
Yeh I figured it would be, but i think this would be an easy 1st attempt at a wood board and then I can progress from here. Thanks!
No don’t buy the plans, there is plenty of info here so do your research first, ask questions from those who have made them.
This is where I started…
Let us know how you go…
No don’t buy the plans
I hear the sound of Jackboots (Or is it Jacksandals, or Jackthongs?) The plans might be very interesting, they might contain some interesting new idea or method which could add to the knowledge of HWS building here on Swaylock’s. . . . not a good idea (IMO) to assume that Swaylock’s already contains all possible HWS building knowledge. . . and how can we dismiss the plans unless we have seen them. . . they are a gamble, a mystery package ! But of course it’s Definitely a good idea to buy MY plans BTW Hicksy, if you guys want any Paulownia the lady who sold it to me is moving to Perth in June, so maybe we could smuggle a packet of slats in, just a thought.
