Got a line on a used one (9’2", 2+1, squash tail). How are they in east coast surf? Are they actually shaped by Bill Hamilton in Hawaii?
I have a 9’-0" with the fabrick rails, a 2+1 set up, square tail, and concaves. It’s very loose and you don’t have to be on the tail to do your climbs and drops. Im very pleased with it’s performance in NJ shore breaks. The only draw back that I see is that it doaen’t noseride very well. At the end of the season I bought a longer fin to use as a single, but due to other responsibilities, I haven’t used it yet. It’s signed by Billy, and I would imagine thatn he did shape it, but who knows. It’s definetly a keeper!
Ledgedary dude! Buy if for nothing else than putting it on a wall. Cleanest style ever! You should have seen him at Sunset…
Buy it. Surf it. Keep it.
