A friend of mine said he saw some pics of Donovan with a finless board, well kind of. The board had a fin shaped into it. From how he described it sounded like the board was shaped out of a blank/plug with either a really thick tail end or from a really thick blank throughout. He said the board was shaped with a modern type rocker/foil but in the tail section the middle (around the stringer) of this thick tail was left alone. The rocker and foil were shaped around this area and continued all the way through the back of the blank. Then the stringer/foam area that was left in the tail of the board was shaped into a keel type fin shape with deep double concaves on either side of this keel fin. Has anyone seen/heard/ridden this thing.
