anyone know how much cant should be in rear fins for quad/ M5 mckee setup up?

hey guys!, just wondering if anyone could help with this. trying to figure out how much cant should be in rear fins for quad/ M5 mckee setup up? the board is 14 1/2 in 1ft off tail, rounded pin. i was going to go with normal 4degree cant in front fins, but not sure about back fins. if anyone could help with any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! thanks guys

jr - try half the cant of the front fins (got that from Mckee), but 4 degrees for the front may be too little - most use about 6 to 7 degrees. This thing of using degrees to measure cant is tricky as 4 degrees from what ?, the bottom or the horizontal - wish I could draw a diagram. What I’ve done is taken a look at a lot of popular hpsb and measured the distance between the rear of the 2 bases, and then measure the distance between the rear of the 2 tips and the difference between the 2 is the number I aim for. I prefer a 1" difference as a compromise between drive and looseness, some people like 1 1/8" For me the strong point of doing it this way is I don’t have to be concerned with the bottom concave depth or V whereas with using degrees it get too easy to be off. Hope this is helpful and others chime in.

jr., . if it is any help to you, i took my anglefinder and glued it on top of a mixing stick, then glued that onto a  torpedo level, ( with the level laying on its side, NOT upright like normal), this assures that you can extend your angle finder out to the inside face of your fin from the center of the board (from leve), and you can find level when you go to put in your cant angle, even dealing with concaves or vee.

for the vee issue, i just took the device i described to you, and built a bridge out it to bridge over the vee, so that your level wont teeter, i will try to post a pic of the device, its really effective
